Details: Making room in the driveway so it is time to sell my NA Nissan 300zx. I have owned the car since 98 which had 43k on it. The car has 105k on it now. I changed the oil every 3k with Mobil 1 synthetic. I have added many Japanese Spec parts. Only used Genuine Nissan parts. Just had the 120k service done which included the timing belt, water pump and tensioner.I do not have a current inspection. The car runs and drives but needs some work to the body. A truck backed into me which did some damage to the front bumper. There are some rust spots on the car also. The tranny will probably need replaced. Back in 2001 had a bad rear mail seal which caused me to drive without gear oil. I have an extra tranny that came out of a z that had 50k. I am throwing that in the deal. Details: 1996 Nissan 200SX SE-R with sliding sunroof, power locks and windows, cloth interior, tires in great condition, runs and drives fine with 173,000 miles on it.I bought the car in June 2011 with no working ignition, completely inoperable rear brakes, and cosmetic issues.I have fixed the ignition, replaced the brakes, and cosmetically haven´t done much except clean up the interior.Since I have drove the car the following issues have come up (in chronological order): - Overheats when idling sometimes. I have done some troubleshooting and found that the fuse for the fan doesn´t make good contact with the fuse box. I have tried pushing it down and holding it there manually and the fan kicks on so that seems to be the issue. Would potentially need a new fuse box, around 50 bucks, or somehow re-tensioning the contacts to fix it.- The wipers stopped working. The arm assembly detached from the electric motor that drives the wipers. To replace that it would cost $28.- After replacing the brakes the right rear caliper blew. So that would need to be replaced but the brakes on the back are new except for the damaged caliper.- The engine light came on. Checked it out with a computer and apparently the temperature sensor needs replaced.Other than those issues, the engine runs fine and these engines can got 250,000 - 300,000 miles. The car does have quite a bit of rust around the rear and the paint is beat up all around where a previous owner fixed the rust but didn´t paint. The interior seats have some oil stains and such and the carpet is rough. The dash and door plastic are in decent condition. This car can been restored to nice condition with some work and can go a lot more miles. I moved and my needs changed so I bought a wagon, otherwise I would be slowly fixing its issues. Reasonable offers accepted and you have to come get the car as it can drive short distances with the brake issues but you wouldn´t want to risk taking it more than a few miles.
