Driven Every Single Day (365 days/yr) by all 3 owners. well maintained.THE GOOD :*4x4 works great. no issues. manual locking hubs work great.*GOOD FRAME. does have some surface rust, but no holes. rear shackles still solid.*good tires. (different brands but all exactly the same size and all have a lot of tread left)*good brakes. no pulse, wobble or noises.*good transmission & transfer case.*good clutch. don´t slip.*good exhaust -but- it has a ´cherry bomb´ muffler so it´s a little bit loud.*good suspension. it was re-done 3 years ago with a 2´ Rough Country lift kit. (done right)*new gas tank installed recently.*all new tune up parts installed recently including new o2 sensors.*good PA inspections thru January 2013.*no check engine or other lights on and no old codes stored.*it has a bed liner (good thing it does cause the bed is rough underneath)*new rear window. (one that opens)*looks like the axle boots in front are almost new*last owner said he put on a few odds and ends on the front end for last inspection(I´m not sure what, exactly, was done. but you can see some newer looking stuff on the front end when you look up close)THE NOT SO GOOD :*bed and body will need patched eventually, lots of surface rust. bed is getting pretty bad underneath.*it has the A/C option but it does NOT work. Details: I´m selling my 2005 Nissan 350z with only 53k on it. I bought the car new in 2005 with every option I could get which includes Nav and Chrome wheels. This vehicle has NEVER seen winter therefor the drive train is pretty clean. I´m asking more than the average Z listed do to the numerous upgrades. If your looking for a stock 287hp Z, this isn´t your car. This z makes over 400 FHP and 399.96 of torque at the wheels. In 2009 I added a Turbonetics Single Turbo to the car, the added hp required additional modifications to support the power. This included a new 6 puck stage 3 race clutch, aluminum flywheel, short shifter, hawk hp plus brake pads, and nismo catback. This car does not have Cats which only requires you to run the car through the drive cycle without hitting boost. I just put it on the road Friday and is currently inspected. Despite the extra power I have taken extreme care in maintenance / 3k oil changes etc. It has been to Lebanon Vally twice for test and tune and ran a best time of 12.8 at 108 on street tires with it´s fastest pass in the 114 mph range. It is capable of low 12´s high 11´s on a good tire. Other than that, it´s been to Walkens Glen once for a DE event. The car was a beast and ran 135mph on the back stretch. I´ve mainly used the car for car shows which I have a few first place trophies for. It is yellow, so it does draw a tremendous amount of attention. NegativesI left the car out one day and it hailed, so there is some minor hail damage. The Turbo should have the seals replaced at some point in time, I´m starting to see smoke more often. ´Not an engine issue, just crappy turbo seals which are cheap to replace´Lastly, the a/c line design in the turbo kit sucked. The turbo melted that line which left the car without ac. This can be fixed but would recommend having a custom line made. I have almost 55k vested into the car including the purchase, I´m only asking 19995 or B/O. The car is absolutely incredible to drive. I honestly don´t want to sell it, but I bought a GTR and could use the room in the garage. Details: 1997 Nissan Hardbody XE 4x4 Truck 5spd 201,000 miles driven daily.THE GOOD : 4x4 works great.good frame. has surface rust, but no holes. rear shackles still solid.good tires. (different brands but all exactly the same size)good brakes. no pulse, wobble or noises.good transmission & transfer case. good clutch. don´t slip.good exhaust -but- it has a ´cherry bomb´ muffler so it´s a little loud. good suspension. it was re-done 3 years ago with a 2´ Rough Country lift kit.new gas tank installed recently.all new tune up parts installed recently including new o2 sensors.good PA inspections thru January 2013.no check engine or other lights on and no old codes stored.THE BAD : bed and body will need patched eventually, no holes Yet, but lots of surface rust. still looks good from 20 feet away.it has the A/C option but it does NOT work. (no clue why)it SOMETIMES does not idle correctly and wants to stall when coming to a stop.(i was told by the last owner it may be a vacuum leak)it has something IN or ON the front of the MOTOR that is MAKING NOISE.(i was told by the last owner that it´s a noisy timing chain and it has been that way for a loooong time). the motor leaks oil from just about every gasket. (looses 2 quarts every 3,000 miles between changes)the factory Radio / CD lights up but does not work, also, no speakers they are missing.I´m no mechanic, so I DO NOT have any clue what´s all wrong, or how much it would cost to fix it.I´m guessing at some point this truck will need another motor installed, how soon? who knows?I checked around and you can get a good used motor for one of these for under $500 and there are many of them available.I considered putting in another motor and keeping it, but we really don´t need a 3rd vehicle. especially one with no back seat.REASON FOR SELLING : I bought this truck to tear down and haul away my old garage.But I have no need for this truck beyond this one project, which is almost complete.FINAL NOTES: It still runs (and sounds) exactly the same as when i bought it. (sounds ´IFFY´ but runs good).Come & listen to how it sounds and take it for a drive. it´s really not that bad sounding.If you need a very cheap inspected 4x4 truck that runs and drives this could be it.Asking $1500 in CASH.... BUT.... i´m still waiting on the title.... so......If you come look & make a reasonably close offer & make a small cash deposit, the truck is yours.I´ll hold (and park it) until you payoff & pickup the truck.... when the title arrives....
