The turbo-charged engine runs strong and there are no oil or coolant leaks. The Borg Warner T5 5 speed transmission operates smoothly and the clutch was recently replaced. The desirable and somewhat scarce ´digital´ instrument cluster is fully functioning. The alloy wheels are in nice shape as are the headlight buckets and taillight assemblies. The exterior color is two tone silver/blue with a blue interior. The glass t-tops are intact and complete although the driver´s side has some cracks visible. The hood (complete with NACA vent) is in great shape as is the back hatch. This sports car is drivable but needs restoration. Details: This is a super rare 2004 Nissan Maxima SE Elite package with 6 speed manual transmission. Black onyx / Orange interior. It has ALL factory options including: Navigation, Bose stereo, Power moonroof, dual power heated front seats, dual heated rear buckets, full length console with rear power point and glovebox storage, rear seat trunk pass-through, power operated rear seat sunshade, heated power folding mirrors, driver seating memory system, power driver´s lumbar adjustment, power steering column, heated steering wheel, home link transceiver, auto dimming rear view mirror, and more. HID headlights with yellow projector fog lamps. It has 66,000 miles on it. There are no accidents on the carfax, and I am the second owner. I am a Nissan employee and the car has been maintained at Nissan in Yorkville NY. Also included are factory trunk netting, and nissan OEM first aid kit. The car is very fast (300+ hp). It has aftermarket cold air intake, long tube headers, catless test pipe, and Topspeed cat-back dual exhaust. The car has no cat converters but it will pass inspection, I used spacers on the o2 sensors. The front brake calipers have been powdercoated orange to match the interior with upgraded brake pads. The tires have 50% remaining. The clutch is strong and tight. The car is lowered on K-Sport full coilover suspension ($900) with Racingline upgraded sway bar links. Also installed is a Viper 2-way paging security system, car starter and is a $500 alarm. There is no rust or dents on the car. It returns 20 mpg city and 28 highway. I have always changed the oil every 3000 miles and always use premium fuel. The car has a new NYS inspection and fresh air filter. Also 2 of the 3 Oxygen sensors are brand new (bosch). The windows were professionally tinted 70%. The bad: The check engine light will come on if the car is redlined due to no cat converters. It is easily reset for inspection purposes. I can include the cat converters with the sale. The paint is maybe 7 / 10 condition. Few scratches. Driver side lower control arm bushing is worn. Causes minor shake at 70+ mph and will need to be replaced eventually. Driver side door lock cylinder does not work with the key, I never seemed to mind since I always use the remote. It is kind of loud at WOT but very mean sounding. Think, 350z or Infinity G35 mixed with straight pipe Mustang.
