This Altima with 219,000 miles has been my commuter car for 2 years and still rides very nice.The good - it still runs great (155 mile round trip per day as of today - Valentines day) and has never left me on the side of the road. Leather, CD player, sun roof, consistent 30 mpg.Recently replaced - -Rear main seal-Water pump-Alternator-Battery-Thermostat-Tires are 6 mo old-Front brake pads are 6 mo old-Radiator (9 months ago)-Plugs, Plug wires (9 months ago)-Radiator CapThe bad - it recently devoped a head gasket leak. The repair shop said for now it´s ´small´ and should be okay to keep driving short distances if the coolant is kept topped off - well, my 155 mile commute per day is not short and I can´t risk it and don´t want to overheat the motor and cause more problems. The heat works intermittently - it cycles from hot to cold but when it blows hot, it´s hot!Crack across 3/4 of the windshield thanks to a perfectly placed rock not too long ago. Small oil leak - about the size of the bottom of a pop can each night. I´m not hiding anything from anyone - this car still does run very well but to keep it going much longer it needs some work - if you can do it yourself or have some connections for cheap mechanical labor I´m sure this car has quite a few miles left on it. Kelly Blue Book lists it at $1200 if it needs mechanical work - I´ll start at $1000 and consider reasonable offers. I just want some of $$ back from what I´ve put into it lately and don´t want to try to trade it in and get offered nothing. Thanks for looking. Truck is very reliable and has not given me any problems. Never had any major repairs, just regular maintenance. Have kept up on required scheduled maintenance. Truck gets 25 mpg on highway in summer. Two new tires in the back, new spark plugs, new brakes and belts not too long ago. It drives great and the interior is clean.
