Details: This was one of my father´s cars, and he drove it every day until he had a problem. It ran and drove great, he parked it one day and when he got in it to go, it was taking off in 2nd gear and wouldn´t upshift. I bought him another car and it has sat ever since. Unfortunately, some vandals removed the catalytic converter now. They also tried to steal it, but almost got caught and ran. So the plastic cover is partly off on the column. In my opinion, it can be fixed fairly easy, I was told its an electrical switch that went bad for the shift problem, and an aftermarket catalytic converter can be bought cheap. The body is in fair to decent condition. I drove the car and it drove good. I believe the price is more than fair, but I am open to a reasonable offer. This car was getting 30-34 mpg. 4cyl. automatic, reg windows, cruise and air that needs recharged. A decent gas saver.Update; I am about to sell it to pull a part for $270 a ton and it weighs 3200 pounds, if you have a serious offer that´s at least that much, let me know soon. Otherwise this is over. The car needs a transmission solenoid from what I was told, which is ´supposed´ to be easy to do and cheap from pull a part. Details: This was my father´s everyday car until he became too ill to drive anymore. It is a 4 cyl, automatic with power windows and locks, power mirrors, air-needs charged, and runs pretty darn good. From what he remembers, it gave him around 30-35 mpg, a real gas sipper. I do not offer any guarantees on anything whatsoever, so look it over and be your own judge. It has a good or decent body, some minor dents and light rust, a pewter like color-almost silver. The plates have expired this month, so it can only be tested in the nearby area. My brother-in-law drove it recently from Mentor Ohio to where it is now with no problem whatsoever. Update, I had it running today, there is a bad exhaust gasket on a pipe under the car, easy to change. I drove it, and there´s some minor front end noise on bumps but checked it and see nothing loose or bad, but that needed to be said. I noticed the brakes are a little weak but figure that´s from sitting. If I bought it, I´d still look them over. I just don´t want to hold anything back, so I´m being up front. I want to move this car this weekend, I will take $700 CASH in hand this weekend. NO LESS! NO LESS! NO LESS! Do not even think of anything less! It will need brake work and an exhaust gasket between two pipes in the open area under the car. Two bolts and it´s done. The car runs great, and drives great other than some rattles hear and there, probably a strut, and the brakes. All easy fixes and you have a really decent car. You can´t beat the price anywhere.
